Construction of the Maryland Live! casino at Arundel Mills is expected to bring with it approximately 2,500 jobs in the next 12 to 18 months. When the casino is completed in 2010, approximately 1,500 people will be hired to work at the 300,000-square-foot entertainment facility.
PPE Casino Resorts Maryland will be responsible for all casino operations, including hiring. Candidates living in the Anne Arundel area will have an advantage to reinforce the casino’s ties to the community.
Job fairs will be held, but applicants can also research positions and apply on-line at www.marylandlivecasino.com. Positions will be available in such areas as marketing, food and beverage services, and security.
