The United States Naval Academy will have a week celebrating its graduating class of 2018. with tradition and ceremony. Events begin Friday, May 18, 2018 and culminating with graduation at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium on Friday, May 25, 2018
Commissioning Week honors the First Class midshipmen as they complete four years at Naval Academy. Parents, family members and guests are invited to attend a series of events at the Naval Academy in honor of the graduates including the Blue Angels Flight Demonstration, Color Parade, musical performances, and special awards ceremonies.
The Blue Angels will fly above the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium for the time-honored graduation flyover, on Friday May 27th at 10am.
As part of Commissioning Week, the Blue Angels will arrive and circle over the Severn River between 1.45 pm and 4pm, for a flight demonstration.
The USNA Concert Band performs a public concert series featuring everything from light classics to marches to classic band literature and patriotic songs.
The 117th playing of the Army-Navy game will kick off at 3 PM on December 10th at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore and will be televised nationally by CBS. Navy has won 14 straight games against the Black Knights, including last year's 21-17 thriller in Philadelphia.
