Come to Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds May 6th and 7th and enjoy live music, great food and a KCBS sanctioned barbeque competition. The Naptown barBAYq Contest & Music Festival is truly a family affair with live music, FREE kids’ activities in the Kid Korral (kids 12 & under admitted free), arts and crafts vendors and cooking demonstrations.
The new and improved festival this year will debut the barBAYq Village where festival-goers will be given the oportunity to walk through and meet the competitors of the barBAYq contest. Happy Hour on Friday will get the party started with half price beer and Peoples’ Choice Wing Competition from 4-7pm and the music starts when 9 Mile Roots and WEIRD SCIENCE take the stage at 7pm.
Saturday gates open at Noon, kids 12 and under are free and once again can enjoy our Kid Korral with FREE activities. Live music on two stages all day, and at 6pm Marshall Law will take the stage for the evening concert.
All the proceeds from the 6th Annual BarBAYq Contest & Music Festival will be donated to local children’s charities.
